Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of England and Wales.

Section 1: Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to copyright laws.

You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of these Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

Section 2: General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

You understand that your content, not including payment card information, may be transferred unencrypted and may involve (a) transmissions over various networks, and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Payment card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service, or any content on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

Section 3: Prices

The prices of our products are quoted in GBP and exclude processing and shipping costs, which are shown separately at checkout before you pay. Ori is not currently registered for UK VAT, so no VAT is charged on our products and our prices contain no VAT element. We are therefore unable to issue VAT invoices at this time.

For international orders, any import taxes and duties that apply to your destination are, wherever possible, calculated and displayed at checkout and collected as part of your order, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery. For some destinations, or for higher-value orders where such charges cannot be collected at checkout, import taxes or duties may instead be assessed by the destination country and are payable by the recipient. We recommend checking your local requirements before ordering if you are unsure what may apply.

Ori reserves the right to amend its prices at any time. However, products shall be invoiced on the basis of the prices in effect at the time the order is registered, subject to their availability.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part or content of it, without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Section 5: Accuracy of Billing and Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same payment card, or orders that use the same billing or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email, billing address, or phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and payment card details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Section 6: Availability

Our products are offered subject to availability. Because much of our collection is vintage and often one of one, a piece may sell only once and may become unavailable at any time. We will inform you, by email, as soon as reasonably possible after an order has been placed if any product ordered is not available. If a product is not available, the order may be cancelled by Ori and any payment taken will be refunded in full.

Section 7: Payment

You may use any of the payment methods displayed at checkout to pay for your order, which may include debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All payments made on our website are encrypted and secured. We accept your order once payment has been authorised and we have sent you an order confirmation.

Section 8: Delivery

Products will be shipped to the delivery address given by the buyer when placing their order. Delivery timeframes, shipping costs, and tracking are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. A tracking number will be sent by email where available, so the buyer can track their parcel from dispatch through to delivery.

Where you are dealing as a consumer, the goods remain at our risk until they are delivered to you, and risk of loss passes to you on delivery, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a parcel is returned to us because delivery could not be completed — for example, an incorrect or incomplete address, a failure to collect, or, where charges were payable on delivery, unpaid import taxes or duties — any redelivery will be at the buyer's cost. This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is lost or damaged in transit.

Section 9: Return Policy

Vintage and pre-owned items

Our vintage and pre-owned pieces (Product Condition Criteria A, B, C, D, J) are sold as seen, on a final-sale basis. Because of the nature of second-hand goods, Ori Boutique does not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds on vintage items for a change of mind. It is the buyer's responsibility to review the description, images, and any condition report before purchase. Should you require any additional information before ordering, a condition report, along with further photographs or measurements, is available on request.

New items

For new, unworn pieces (Product Condition Criteria N, S), we may offer an exchange or credit note within 14 days of purchase, at our discretion, provided the item is returned in its original condition with any tags attached and you have proof of purchase.

Faulty or misdescribed items

Every piece we offer, new or vintage, is described as honestly and accurately as we can, and must be of satisfactory quality given its age and condition. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item arrives faulty or not as described, you have the right to reject it for a full refund within 30 days of receipt, or to ask for a repair, replacement, or price reduction. This protection applies to our vintage pieces too, but does not cover characteristics, wear, or flaws that were disclosed in the listing or visible in the product images at the time of sale.

Section 10: Liability

The products offered for sale comply with current UK legislation and regulations. Buyers in other countries are responsible for requesting information from their local authorities about importing or using the products ordered.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our liability to a consumer is limited to loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms.

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy. Personal data collected when you place an order is handled by Ori solely for the purposes of processing and fulfilling that order, and as otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy. The personal data we store to meet order processing and tracking needs is kept secure. Section 12: Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order.

We undertake no obligation to update, amend, or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service has been modified or updated.
